Kita-hiroshima Town, located in the northern part of Hiroshima Prefecture, is a rural area experiencing depopulation.

Rich in nature, the town is known for its vibrant traditional performances, including "Mibu no Hanadaue," a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage event, and Kagura, a classical Shinto theatrical dance.

In this countryside town, we offer private working rooms in a traditional Japanese house to domestic and international artists and models who wish to stay for a mid- to long-term period. Shared facilities such as toilets, washrooms, and bathrooms are available.

Donations to cover basic fees such as utilities and communication costs is appreciated. We encourage you to bring your artistic touch to this town.

Additionally, while we have some small work spaces, we could also provide access to an atelier and a small gallery if necessary. If possible, we would appreciate it if you could hold a small exhibition for local residents before the conclusion of your stay, contributing to the revitalization of this depopulated area.

Please note that transportation within the town, including travel between the house and the atelier, as well as shopping, requires a vehicle. We recommend considering rental options for a car or motorcycle during your stay.

広島県北部に位置する北広島町は、過疎化が進む田舎町です。自然豊かなこの町では、「壬生の花田植」（ユネスコ無形文化遺産）や神楽といった伝統的な舞台芸能が盛んに行われています。

この田園風景が広がる町で、国内外の芸術家の皆さんが、伝統的な日本家屋の作業個室で芸術活動に専念できるようなアートレジデンスプログラムを試行予定です。滞在期間は中長期で、トイレ・洗面・浴室などの共用設備をご利用いただけます。ぜひあなたのアートの力で、この町に彩りを加えてください。

また、小規模な作業スペースは用意しておりますが、必要に応じてアトリエや小さなギャラリーの利用も可能です。可能であれば、滞在の締めくくりとして、地域住民向けの小さな展覧会を開いていただいたり、交流会に参加いただければ、地域の活性化につながります。

なお、町内の移動には車等の移動手段が必要となります。滞在中はレンタカーやバイクの利用もご検討ください。
